





Robert B. Griffin was born February 10, 1930 in Trenton, NJ. In May of 1947 Mr. Griffin enlisted in the US Army Air Corp where he served as a member of the prestigious Tuskegee Airman. He served up to the rank of Master Sergeant.


Rober B. Griffin was one of the founding members of the non-profit flying organization Black Pilots of America, Inc. (BPA, Inc.) established in 1997. Members include men, women, and youth aviation enthusiasts from all walks of life and various backgrounds and experiences. With chapters all over the USA, The BPA Community is making a big impact!



Robert B. Griffin Chapter Located in Central Florida is alive and well! We strive to continue Robert B. Griffin's vision of creating an aviation community for people with varied backgrounds to thrive in aviation.
